Aircraft History

The PA-46 Malibu Matrix is an un-pressurized version of the Malibu Mirage. The removal of pressurization lessens the weight a little and the price a lot. This allows Piper to take aim at a whole new market with the venerable six-seat single. A 350 hp turbocharged Lycoming driving a three-blade Hartzell propeller, powers the Malibu Matrix.

Handling and performance are strong suits for the Malibu Mirage. The cabin is snug, but adequate.

The aircraft is equipped with the Avidyne Entegra flat-panel display system as standard equipment.
