Aircraft History

The Falcon 2000S was introduced at EBACE 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland, as a large-cabin competitor to the super-mid-size business jets. In order to compete with that class, the aircraft was initially priced at $25 million. The Falcon 2000S is based on a standardized variant of the Falcon 2000LX. The main difference being that the fuel capacity is reduced from the LX,which reduces the range to 3,350 nautical miles withsix aboard and NBAA IFR reserves.

The Falcon 2000S will contain the LX's 7,000-hour time between overhauls (TBO), 7,000-pounds of thrust PWC 308C turbofans and Primus Epic EASy II cockpit and system. The only real difference between the 2000S and 2000LX is the fuel capacity and resulting reduced range.

The original Falcon 2000 shares the 900's wing and forward fuselage. It is a twin-engine transcontinental business jet, with a cabin that is 7 feet shorter than the Falcon 900.
