The Vision SF50 is Cirrus' first jet-powered aircraft. It is a single-engine, seven-seat, very light jet. It was first shown publicly at the annual Cirrus Migration in 2008 and first flew on July 3, 2008. At 6,000 pounds maximum takeoff gross weight, it is one of the smallest private jet aircraft available.
The Vision SF50 is powered by one Williams FJ-33-5A turbofan engine and the flight deck is run by the Garmin G1000 avionics suite. It also has the same CAPS parachute system found in Cirrus' piston-powered aircraft.
